The APOPHTHEGMATA series by Aition focuses on the ancient texts of the Apophthegmata Patrum, a collection of sayings and narratives about the Desert Fathers and Mothers, hermit ascetics who settled to live solitary life in the harsh conditions of the Egyptian desert from the 3rd century AD onwards.

The 3rd release of the series, Spyridon, features Anna-Maaria Oramo on clavicimbalum (track 5).
